Unless you have stipulated shuttle pickups at either Britomart Centre, Auckland CBD, or Smales Farm in Auckland:
Checkin will close 20 minutes prior to departure or 10 minutes for those with carry on baggage only
Fare Conditions
Regular Fare – $179
This fare is transferable and able to be rescheduled or refunded up to 24 hours from travel, for an additional fee of $30. The fare can be booked any time, even on the day of travel.
Early Bird Fare – $149
This fare must be booked at least 3 days from travel and is a totally non flexible, non transferable and non refundable fare.
Flexifare – $129
This fare must be bought as a 10 concession fare voucher for $1290 (total inc GST). It can be booked any time and used for anyone. As the most flexible of fares it can be transferred, rescheduled to be used at a later date for no fee, but the change must be made up to 24 hours from travel. The 10 fare voucher has a 12 month validity period so must be used within a year.

- All fares include a free shuttle from North Shore Airfield to Auckland CBD and Smales Farm (Takapuna) and return.
- Child ages are 4-12yrs, infants under 4 are FOC on a parents lap.
- Carry on bags are defined as baggage less than 5kg.
Fares are subject to change prior to commencement of carriage. Travel can be refused by Salt Air Limited if relevant fare has not been paid.
Children
One child, under the age of four, may travel free if seated on the lap of an adult. Two children may not be seated on lap of one adult. Children four years are required to be seated and pay the advertised standard fare.
Luggage
A standard luggage allowance is permitted of 15kg per paying passenger. At the discretion of Salt Air Limited and subject to space and loadings, additional luggage may be carried up to 20kg. Any luggage over 20kg will be charged at the standard excess baggage rate of $5.00 per kg. Carriage of excess luggage will not be guaranteed. Salt Air Ltd and it’s agents will not accept liability for damages, loss or delay to any goods or luggage carried. No responsibility will be accepted for perishable articles or fragile items carried in luggage.
Timetable
Salt Air Limited will undertake to make every effort to handle passengers and luggage with efficiency. All times quoted on our timetable are not guaranteed, and cannot be interpreted to form part of this contract. All timetables quoted are subject to change without notice. Salt Air Limited may without notice substitute alternative carriers or aircraft if necessary, or may change destination shown on the ticket in the case of necessity. All ticket holders are responsible for any additional expenses arising due to delay or over carriage of both passengers and luggage.

Smales Farm Pickup and Drop Off – Important Information
The Salt Air Xpress shuttle is only permitted to pickup and drop off at Smales Farm in Takapuna. It cannot stand and wait at either Platforms 1 or 2. Please ensure you are at your designated platform at least 5 minutes prior to the published time. It is also possible due to heavy traffic in central city at certain times of the day that the shuttle bus could be up to 10 minutes behind schedule.
Obligations Where Carriage Cannot Be Performed Or Completed
If Salt Air Ltd is unable to commence or continue any flight or carry any contracted passenger, they will endeavour to provide alternative carriage to the same value as the fare paid. If alternative carriage is not available, the passenger may rebook with Salt Air Limited or receive a full refund. A passenger who is refused carriage may receive a refund for such part of the carriage as may be application. Salt Air Limited has no obligation to any passenger who is late for or misses a flight.
Restricted Articles
In accordance with New Zealand regulations, articles such as the following may not be carried in passengers luggage:
- Explosive substances or articles (includes fireworks and similar items)
- Flammable liquids
- Oxygen yielding substances
- Articles that, if leaking, would cause damage to living tissue
- Substances that may cause injury if swallowed, inhaled, or touched
- Aerosols and articles charged with gas
- Compressed, liquefied, soluble, refrigerated, and mixed gases
- Self reactive, spontaneous ignition, and water reactive substances
- Radioactive materials
- Flammable or poisonous compressed gases
- Corrosive materials
- Magnetised materials
- Oxidising substances
- Poisonous, toxic, infectious substances
- Other dangerous goods
