Day Tours Duration
These tours from Auckland are a full day from 6.30am until about 7.00pm during the summer season (October to late April). We pick you up from your hotel (in the Auckland CBD only) and will transfer you to meet your aircraft for a 7.15am departure from North Shore airport. The return flight from the Bay of Islands lands at the North Shore at 6.15pm and we transfer you back to your hotel.
- Available weekdays Monday to Friday.
- Departure times during winter April to October – pick up from your hotel at approximately 7.20am and returning to your Hotel at 5.30pm.
- Tours operate with a minimum of 2 passengers

Tour 1 – Auckland to Cape Reinga Full Day Tour Including Bay of Islands: $955 Per Person

From the Bay of Islands we continue up the West coast via the world famous 90 mile beach.
We land at Cape Reinga from where you depart on a 2½ hour tour exploring this magical area by comfortable air conditioned vehicle. An opportunity to experience the exhilaration of sand tobogganing is offered on this portion of the tour. A light refreshment is also included.
Rejoin the aircraft for the next leg of your flight via the east coast route to the Bay of Islands. You will view some of the most stunning coastal scenery Northland has to offer, flying over Parengarenga Harbour and Great Exhibition Bay. This remote area is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand with it’s pure white silica sand and crystal clear water, much of it accessible only by sea or air. We fly on over Houhora Harbour, the Cavalli Islands, Kauri Cliffs golf course, and the spectacular Bay of Islands.
From the Bay of Islands/Kerikeri airport a courtesy vehicle will take you to Paihia, the hub of the Bay of Islands for a few hours in the afternoon. Feel free to explore this historical area, walk along the beautiful beach or do some shopping. You can visit Russell by ferry or go to Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
At a pre-arranged time you we will take you to your aircraft for the return flight to Auckland. This leg of the flight will follow the west coast route south from Kerikeri to Auckland via the Kaipara Harbour, before landing in Auckland for transfer back to your hotel.

- Transfers to/from Paihia – hub of the Bay of Islands
- Please note: During the winter season due to wet weather it is possible that the aircraft can not land up at Cape Reinga, on these occasions we can offer a scenic flight only option.
Tour 2 – Auckland to Bay of Islands Heli Cruise Island Escape: $655 Per Person (October to April only)
After landing in Kerikeri, you are transferred to Paihia in our courtesy vehicle to our Heli Pad where you board the helicopter for a spectacular flight through the Islands to the Hole in the Rock before landing on our custom-built Heli Barge anchored in the Bay.
Boarding our Sea Shuttle from the Heli Barge, you are then are shuttled to a nearby island to enjoy swimming, hiking, snorkeling, fishing or just relaxing on the beach. You can spend a few hours or all day on the island before we pick you up again by Sea Shuttle for an informative cruise back to Paihia.
If time allows you can enjoy some Paihia activities before being transported back to Kerikeri Airport for the flight back to Auckland with hotel transfer.

- 20 minute scenic helicopter flight to the Hole in the Rock and Over the Bay of Islands
- Landing on the Heli Barge in the islands, boat transfer from the barge to an Island for Stopover
- Boat transfer from the island to Paihia with scenic tour through the islands
Note: If you would like lunch to be included for your Island Stopover we have $22 and $30 per person options available. You can also hire snorkel gear for $15 per set. Please request these optional extras on booking. This tour is available from October to April.
Tour 3 – Auckland to Bay of Islands Day Tour: $655 Per Person
From the Bay of Islands airport in Kerikeri a courtesy vehicle will take you to Paihia, the hub of the Bay of Islands. Once in Paihia you will board a 3-hour Bay of Islands Dolphin Watching cruise to the Hole in the Rock. On the return cruise from the Hole in the Rock you will be dropped off in Russell to enjoy a walk and lunch at your leisure to explore this historic town. You will be provided with a Russell ferry ticket to return to Paihia.
At a pre-arranged time you we will take you to your aircraft for the return flight to Auckland. This leg of the flight will follow the west coast route south from Kerikeri to Auckland via the Kaipara Harbour, before landing in Auckland for transfer back to your hotel.
